Read what some of our clients have to say about Face PR

Berwickshire Civic Society The Flag for Berwickshire competition has kept the society very busy. Thanks and compliments must be paid in particular to Kathleen Travers, Face PR,  who has provided an exemplary service throughout the competition.

Inverclyde Women’s Aid -We came into contact with Kathleen Travers of Face PR while she was working on a project with another organisation. We were going through a period of change and asked for help in updating our job descriptions to make them more user-friendly. We then contracted Face PR to work on our new website content and produce a suite of publications to promote our revitalised service. Our social media had been neglected during this time too, and the organisation’s visibility was not what we had hoped for. We needed an urgent review to ensure that the services we provide were highlighted and made available to those that needed them. Kathleen listened to what was required and got to work modernising our communications channels and making everything was more eye catching to the public. Given the nature of our work, she managed to ensure our content was light, when possible, and helped us to grow our network. For us, a huge bonus was Kathleen’s responsiveness to our requests. Everything was answered and dealt with within a great timescale; we felt like her only clients! Her attention to detail, with sensitivity, was appreciated and the ongoing PR support she provided has been invaluable. This was a great partnership and we would thoroughly recommend Face PR to anyone requiring more exposure – it’s money well spent!

Streets Ahead – We have engaged with Face PR across a range of areas relating to information and communication. They have been very supportive and flexible and demonstrate a very strong understanding of our organisation’s needs. At Streets Ahead, we acknowledge the power of positive storytelling in our sector and feel that it is an essential tool for promoting positive outcomes for people. To this end, Face PR are always willing to engage with a range of stakeholders and they are attuned to modern approaches to empowering people and increasing choice and control. We like working with Face PR and we consider them to be professional, friendly, flexible and committed to helping us get to where we want to be.

MS Society Scotland, Borders branch – We met with Face PR as our branch had, for some time, been struggling to get information out to our members. As a result of our positive meeting, we now have a regular newsletter, which everyone can contribute to. It is professional and greatly enjoyed by our members. We look to continue to avail ourselves of Face PR’s services in other ways in the future in our efforts to help those Borders people who live their lives with multiple sclerosis.

Berwickshire Association for Voluntary Service (BAVS) – We have worked with Face PR for the past six months. During that time they have consolidated and improved our Facebook presence, as well as designing two great training programmes. Face PR is professional, knowledgeable and sensitive to the needs of the third sector.

The Food Foundation – We got in touch with Face PR and asked if they could help us to raise the profile of our small social enterprise in Peebles. They were very professional and had some great ideas that fitted in with what we were trying to achieve. They were so friendly and went out of their way to be more than helpful, and put us in touch with useful contacts in the third sector. They came over to Peebles to talk to our staff and students, took some photos and got us a whole page in the local papers. Their rates are very reasonable. We can’t thank Face PR enough and would definitely encourage anyone to use them, especially if you work in the third sector. Thank you for all your help. Face PR!

Nurture the Borders – We are a relatively new social enterprise and recently worked with Face PR after receiving funding for a new project. We were keen to raise the profile of our organisation, as well as spread the word about the project. Face PR worked closely with us to produce an excellent press release, which gave a great balance of information and put across exactly the message we wanted. Face PR successfully managed to get us coverage in the local media, and we have been thrilled with the response. We have been so impressed with the personal service, the attention to detail and the speed with which they were able to pull together the press release and distribute it.

Encompass  Face PR helped us with our two new websites, working with the web designer and with our staff to ensure that the sites met our needs. They updated and managed the sites, and trained our staff on the content management system so that we could learn how to do it without relying on someone else. We are now self-sufficient, and our staff have the confidence to look after the websites – but we know that Face PR are there to help if and when we need it. They also produced press releases and wrote articles to help us promote our services.

Scottish Drugs Forum   Face PR have worked with us on a number of publications, including our newsletters and annual reports. They took the lead on media relations for recent events and have also been involved in updating our website and social media channels. They know the sector, they know our priorities and they know their stuff!

ARC Scotland – We asked Face PR to work on a project in the Scottish Borders. We were trying to get up to date information on local health and social care organisations and what they do. The work they produced was very professional and completed really quickly. And their rates are realistic for third sector organisations. We wanted them to do the work because they are very well connected locally and have an in-depth knowledge of the sector.

We have clients in the private sector too…

Border Webworks – We find Face PR an excellent company to work with and have been closely involved with them on website projects for shared clients for some time now. They have the skills and expertise to focus on the content and CMS training, allowing us to focus on the website development. Face PR also came up with the goods when we needed some clear and accurate copy for one of our other clients in a hurry.

ScottishPlant – Face PR did a thoroughly professional job helping to get our online business magazine up and running. Their help with technical aspects of the site, as well as producing content and providing comprehensive training on the content management system made the project run smoothly.
